The operations manager has overall responsibility for site operations reporting to the Engineering Director. The role includes:

Scope of Role
Our client is working in partnership with a major southern based utilities company to provide design and construction services to relating to mitigation measures concerning their assets affected by the Crossrail project.
They require two staff to join their project team based at Canary Wharf, London. You will be responsible for the front end development of designs and value engineering in conjunction with Crossrail’s Enabling Works Management Agent (EWMA) and Framework Design Consultants (FDCs) and the specification of Detailed Designs for each scheme. Each Design Section Lead will be allocated a specific section of the Crossrail route.
The duties of each Design Section Lead will include the following;
Co-ordination with Crossrail Area and Station managers
Liaison with Crossrail’s FDCs
Identification of TWUL assets affected the Crossrail project
Preliminary TWUL asset solution development
Development of Detailed Design resource and cost estimates for inclusion in C4 proposals
Facilitation of Detailed Designs with clients Design Team, TWUL and Crossrail and its EWMA and FDCs
The two roles are required to start ASAP and are expected to last for up at least 2 years.
